Setting European standards for direct debit services by domiciliation

The national service of debit services used until now, will be replaced soon by a new European direct debit service SEPA.
The SEPA format aims to standardize payments schemes used at the heart of Europe, for domestic payments as well as cross-border payments.

For the existing subscriptions, the given consent for the national direct debit, signed during the subscription, remains valid for the SEPA direct debit.
The subscriber doesn’t have to do anything.
