Prepare your journey by bicycle
(15/01/2008)To make the most of your journeys by bicycle, safety and comfort are necessary. Make sure you are properly equipped before you leave.
- Take the time to adjust the saddle for greater comfort and stability;
- Check the brakes, tyres and lights;
- Adjust your speed according to the weather conditions;
- For greater visibility at night, wear reflective clothing;
- Do not carry passengers. The bicycle is not designed to carry two or more people.
Your responsibility
You are responsible. Make sure you respect the conditions of use :
- vel’oh ! has been designed for users who are at least 14 years old (minimum height: 1.50 m);
- When you return your bicycle, make sure it is properly attached to the parking terminal;
- Use the lock if you make a short stop;
- You have 24 hours to return the bicycle. After this deadline, the deposit will be debited;
- Do not lend the bicycle or your subscription card to anyone else (you have agreed to respect the general conditions of access and use);
- Check that you have third-party insurance. This is compulsory to use the service.
