The Hotcity Walker application, developed by the company under Luxembourg law Pragma Consult S.A (www.pragmaconsult.lu) provides a list of vel’oh! stations in order of how close they are to you as well as the number of places and bicycles available at each vel’oh! station. Hence iPhone and HotCity users will be able to access all information displayed on the urban furniture of the vel’oh! network in real time.

HotCity Walker can be downloaded for free onto iPhone from the iTunes “App Store” and provides general information on the possibilities of moving around the Grand Duchy, particularly information on bus timetables and stops, location maps and lists of connections. By using Hotcity Walker the user can look up traffic info, receive information on parking places and their availability as well as details on airplane departures and arrivals.

With Hotcity Walker, the City of Luxembourg brings together two major projects – the concept of mobility and the Wi-Fi Hotcity infrastructure, the mobile internet in the city – and thus guarantees an optimisation of the information through the incorporation of the new information technologies.
