An iPod Touch for the 100,000th user
The start of 2009 saw a new milestone in the success of the vel'oh! cycle loan scheme, with the number of users passing the 100,000 mark. In order to celebrate this remarkable success and to thank cyclists for their loyalty, Mr Bausch, deputy mayor in charge of mobility in Luxembourg City, presented an iPod Touch to Denis Meys, the subscriber who recorded the 100,000th use.
HotCity, the Luxembourg City open wifi network, will join in this initiative by equipping the platform with a completely new application using a geolocation system to provide real-time information on the screen regarding the nearest vel'oh stations.
