Can I install my own child seat on the bicycle?
Yes, the child seat can be attached to the saddle. vel’oh! has no luggage rack at the back. If the child seat can be attached to the saddle, it can be installed on the bicycle. Please note that vel'oh! has no luggage rack at the back and that therefore no child seat can be attached to it.
Why isn't equipment offered with the hire of the bicycle?
The bicycle offered by this service isn't designed in the same way as a bicycle you can buy in the shops. This bicycle is designed for hire, therefore, the service doesn't provide accessories. That's why a child seat or other equipment isn't not offered with the hire of the bicycles.
How are the bicycles distributed at the stations?
This is dealt within two ways. On the one hand, this occurs naturally by the users who regulary rent out and return the bicycles. On the other hand, members of staff redistribute the bicycles when the stations are full or empty. Our members of staff intervene more often at busy stations.
How do I unlock the bicycle?
When you take out a bicycle, you have to go to the parking terminal you have chosen at the main terminal and press the button to unlock the bicycle. You don't need to force the system because the bicycle unlocks automatically.
Can I consult a map of the stations?
Each terminal is equipped with a fixed map of the City of Luxembourg and an interactive map (right-hand screen) so that you can find the stations closest to where you are. You can also consult the downloadable online map of the stations in the Stations section.
How do I use the lock?
There is lock integrated into the bicycle's basket that you can use when you need to make a short stop. Put the end of the lock into the notch provided for this purpose and take the key that comes out automatically. To unlock the lock, insert the key. The key retracts automatically.
If you need to stop for longer, it's better to park the bicycle securely at the nearest terminal. You can take out a bicycle again when you need one.
